Hora Sfakion- Anopoli

We walk on the old path which connected Hora Sfakion ( 50m) with Anopoli (650m). The hike starts a little after the village of Hora Sfakion  and ends at the place of Kampia in the area of  Anopoli

Sunday

Rousses- Pahnes- Ai Giannis

The trucks carry us to Rousses ( 2000m). We walk on the E4 path to ascend on Pahnes( 2452m). From there, we admire the sea of the peaks around us. We continue our trekking, off the path, westwards. The scenery becomes, rough, rocky, without the slightest vegetation, until we meet the path that descends to Ai Giannis, which starts at the ‘mitata’  ( shepherds’ stone houses) of Potamoi, near the spring of Zarani. We continue our hike on this path, having a view to the west Lefka Ori and the gorge of Elygias, until we arrive in Ai Giannis ( 750m)
